New Updates...

We had a great weekend! Jack and Grandpa went and fed the goosies on Saturday morning and then we all went to visit Mike for a while because he wanted to show everyone his cuties. Later that afternoon, we took Jack and Sophie to their first movie in the theater, Madagascar! It was so much fun! Jack LOVED it and just smacked on his Twizzlers and watched all the animals. Sophie was sleeping when we went in, and woke up shortly after we sat down... we didn't know what to expect next. As it turned out, she watched the ENTIRE movie too while gumming up a Twizzler (thanks to Grandma). Seriously... she never made one noise! It was adorable!

Sunday was good too. Much more low-key than Saturday as we didn't get the kids out of the house at all. It was chilly and we just wanted to stay put! During Jack's nap, Grandpa stayed to played and bond with Sophie so my Mom and I could get out to do some errands.

Oh... and Sophie is crusin'! She is basically running on her knees right now and pulling herself up on everything! She pulled up on the toy box and was digging toys out on Saturday and nearly floored my Mom and I! It was adorable! What a big girl!! She is eating Cherios, cottage cheese, corn, and Twizzlers! (Nice.) So, she is working her way into real food, which I can tell, she is pretty pumped for!

Jack's new tricks involve saying the most hilarious things. He is such a jokester! Seriously. He can dish it right back. My parents couldn't believe it. Grandpa called him a funny nickname and he called him one right back and then made a joke. Cutie. He sings his ABCs constantly while just playing, so those are old news. We have to work on identifying the letters better now, so that is our next mission. He knows some, but not all. That's the skinny on Team Roe.
